Air Seeding Technology with Seedballs to increase carbon sinks through large scale land restoration
This side event is talking about the use of seedballs instead of tree seedlings to do large scale land restoration with the aid of air Seeding Technology with drones. This technology has been applied in Mongolia, UAE Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania and China to restore desert prone areas. The same technology is being adopted to Kenya, Uganda and Egypt to enhance land restoration operations.
