<\/strong>Com lan\u00e7amento de pesquisa in\u00e9dita , evento promove debate sobre seguran\u00e7a e direitos de defensores ambientais<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No dia 11 de novembro, o Amazon Climate Hub realizar\u00e1 um debate com foco na prote\u00e7\u00e3o de defensores de direitos humanos, ambientais e territoriais, no Espa\u00e7o Auditorium, das 19h \u00e0s 21h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Com o tema \u201cLitig\u00e2ncia Estrat\u00e9gica contra a Participa\u00e7\u00e3o P\u00fablica (LEPPs): tend\u00eancias, impactos e caminhos de a\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d<\/strong>, o encontro busca dar visibilidade aos casos de criminaliza\u00e7\u00e3o e ass\u00e9dio judicial enfrentados por povos ind\u00edgenas, quilombolas, comunidades tradicionais e ativistas socioambientais da Amaz\u00f4nia e da Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A iniciativa pretende promover uma reflex\u00e3o sobre as estrat\u00e9gias de resist\u00eancia, prote\u00e7\u00e3o e repara\u00e7\u00e3o diante do avan\u00e7o da judicializa\u00e7\u00e3o predat\u00f3ria, fen\u00f4meno que amea\u00e7a a liberdade de express\u00e3o e o direito \u00e0 participa\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica em causas socioambientais, tanto em n\u00edvel local quanto global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Litig\u00e2ncia Estrat\u00e9gica contra a Participa\u00e7\u00e3o P\u00fablica (LEPPs)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um dos destaques da programa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 o lan\u00e7amento da pesquisa in\u00e9dita  “Mapeamento da Litig\u00e2ncia Estrat\u00e9gica contra a Participa\u00e7\u00e3o P\u00fablica no Brasil”, realizada pelo Instituto Internacional ARAYARA, em parceria com o Escrit\u00f3rio Modelo da PUC-SP e a Cl\u00ednica de Direitos Humanos e Direito Ambiental da UEA promovendo um espa\u00e7o de di\u00e1logo entre academia, sociedade civil e organiza\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais a n\u00edvel local, nacional e global. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Estudo aponta como a\u00e7\u00f5es judiciais v\u00eam sendo utilizadas para intimidar e silenciar defensores e movimentos sociais que atuam na defesa de territ\u00f3rios amea\u00e7ados por grandes empreendimentos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o trar\u00e1 uma defini\u00e7\u00e3o do fen\u00f4meno das LEPPs, al\u00e9m de discutir tend\u00eancias nacionais e internacionais e propor estrat\u00e9gias de repara\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O evento reunir\u00e1 acad\u00eamicos, juristas, representantes de comunidades impactadas, organiza\u00e7\u00f5es da sociedade civil e movimentos sociais, com o objetivo de construir um espa\u00e7o de di\u00e1logo e articula\u00e7\u00e3o frente ao avan\u00e7o das amea\u00e7as aos defensores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
