From Ambition to Action: Scaling Renewable Energy Technologies for Africa’s Green Industrial Agenda
AFPH will open the session with welcoming remarks to anchor Africa’s green industrialisation agenda in large-scale renewable energy deployment. A keynote address will follow, delivered by a representative of the African Union. The discussion will be moderated to ensure a balanced, timely and transparent dialogue among policymakers, industry leaders, financiers and civil society representatives. The discussion will unpack the role of regional power pools, trade frameworks and policy development in scaling demand and identifying investment and partnership opportunities. The intended outcomes of the discussion will be to provide greater visibility for Africa’s industrialization priorities within the COP30 process, connecting them to global climate and finance negotiations.
